A coach with driver to Tienen, the sugar town: a guided group visit, and a coach tour in your own coach through the Hageland.
Tienen is the town of sugar: the Tiense Suikerraffinaderij has its head office here, and the T of Tienen is on most Belgian sugar packaging. During the beet campaign the factory can be visited for about two months a year. In the centre stand St Germanus' Church and the Church of Our Lady ten Poel, and on the Grote Markt the Het Toreke museum.
The Tienen tourist office puts together day programmes for groups, and on some of them a guide gets on the coach for a drive through the Hageland and the edge of Haspengouw. The coach is then not just the transport to Tienen, but also the vehicle for the tour.
Enter your trip and you will see the prices of the participating coach companies side by side, including companies from the Netherlands that drive in Belgium. The Flemish coach companies on this page are not taking part yet: they are listed without a price with your trip, and you can invite them from there.
Driving from the depot is part of the price of every trip, so a company that is close by usually starts lower. These 38 are within 50 km:

There is no fixed price per town. What you pay depends on the distance, how long the driver works, the type of coach and the day. Driving from the company’s depot is part of the price too: a company close by usually starts lower.
Enter your trip in the form at the top and within 1 minute you will see the prices of the participating coach companies, without obligation.
Book a group visit to Tienen in good time, and tell the coach company there is a guided tour during the day: then the driver knows he will not be standing still all day. Also give the company the programme, so the driving and waiting times are right.
As the source puts it, with the day we read it. A municipality can change a rule or a spot: check the source’s page again just before your trip, and agree the spot with your coach company.
