A staff party or a team-building day only works if everyone is really there, and that starts with the journey. With a coach the team sets off together, the talking starts on board, and nobody has to drive home after dinner. For a company with colleagues at several sites, the coach can call at two or three places.

In Flanders the destination is often a city with a programme: a brewery in the Pajottenland, a guided tour in Antwerp or Ghent, a wine estate in the Hageland, or a day at the seaside. If the trip goes to Antwerp, Ghent or Brussels, the rules of the low-emission zone apply there. A recent coach can simply drive in; the coach company knows which coach to send.

Arranging the coach

Pass on the programme with the times: departure, arrival, the journeys in between and the time the last colleagues want to go home. An evening that runs late is a long shift for the driver; agree how late he will stay. If colleagues are setting off from different places, put every pick-up point in your request.

A low-emission zone applies 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Can the coach pick colleagues up in more than one place?

Yes. Put every pick-up point with its time in your request. The coach company drives them in whichever order is quickest.

Does the driver stay until the end of the party?

If you agree that, yes. Say how late you want to stay; for a very late return a second driver may be needed, because a driver's working time is limited.

Can the coach drive into the city of Antwerp or Ghent?

Yes, as long as the coach meets the rules of the low-emission zone. Our page on the low-emission zones explains what applies to a coach.
