A coach with driver from Bruges, or a group trip to Bruges: why the coach stops at the Bargeplein, and what the city does and does not allow.
Bruges is one of the most visited cities in Flanders, and the city has chosen a clear rule for that: coaches stay outside the historic centre. A group gets off at the Bargeplein, on the south side of the city, and walks from there past the Minnewater and the Beguinage to the Markt. If you are coming with older travellers or children, that is a walk to take into account.
If you live in Bruges and want to go on an outing yourself, you are close to the sea: Zeebrugge, Blankenberge and Knokke are half an hour's drive away. Ghent, Ypres and the Westhoek are also popular destinations for a day trip, as is a trip to Zeeland, which is closer to Bruges than many people think.
Enter your trip and you will see the prices of the participating coach companies side by side, including companies from the Netherlands that drive in Belgium. The Flemish coach companies on this page are not taking part yet: they are listed without a price with your trip, and you can invite them from there.
Driving from the depot is part of the price of every trip, so a company that is close by usually starts lower. These 19 are within 50 km:

There is no fixed price per town. What you pay depends on the distance, how long the driver works, the type of coach and the day. Driving from the company’s depot is part of the price too: a company close by usually starts lower.
Enter your trip in the form at the top and within 1 minute you will see the prices of the participating coach companies, without obligation.
Agree with the coach company that your group will get off at the Bargeplein, and say what time you want to be picked up there again. If the coach is taking guests with luggage to a hotel in the city centre, the driver must be able to show the booking. Exactly what the city allows is set out below, with the source.
As the source puts it, with the day we read it. A municipality can change a rule or a spot: check the source’s page again just before your trip, and agree the spot with your coach company.

No, with a few exceptions: taking luggage to a hotel with proof of booking, or carrying passengers with a disability with permission from the police. A group gets on and off at the Bargeplein.
Visit Bruges reckons about twenty minutes' walk to the Markt and five minutes to the Beguinage.
