A coach with driver to be-MINE in Beringen: the mining museum, the slag heap and the mine site, with a drop-off point and a coach park for groups.
Beringen was a mining town, and the old coal mine is now be-MINE: a site where you can climb, dive, shop and walk on the slag heap, around the mine buildings. The Mining Museum there tells the story of the Limburg miners, and the guides are often former miners themselves.
Since the summer of 2024 the historic buildings have been undergoing restoration for a new mining experience centre. Group visits carry on in the meantime, in an adapted form. For a club, a school or a group of pensioners, be-MINE makes a full day, and the coach can park close by.
Enter your trip and you will see the prices of the participating coach companies side by side, including companies from the Netherlands that drive in Belgium. The Flemish coach companies on this page are not taking part yet: they are listed without a price with your trip, and you can invite them from there.
Driving from the depot is part of the price of every trip, so a company that is close by usually starts lower. These 38 are within 50 km:
Measured as the crow flies from the centre. Which one is cheapest also depends on the vehicle and the date.
There is no fixed price per town. What you pay depends on the distance, how long the driver works, the type of coach and the day. Driving from the company’s depot is part of the price too: a company close by usually starts lower.
Enter your trip in the form at the top and within 1 minute you will see the prices of the participating coach companies, without obligation.
Let the coach drop the group off at the tourist information office and then drive to the be-MINE coach park. Watch the address: according to the museum, some satnav systems show the wrong house number, so give the driver the name of the site and not just the address.
As the source puts it, with the day we read it. A municipality can change a rule or a spot: check the source’s page again just before your trip, and agree the spot with your coach company.
