A coach with driver to Geraardsbergen: the Muur, the Oudenberg chapel and a mattentaart, with a guide for your group.
Geraardsbergen lies on the river Dender, on the edge of the Flemish Ardennes, and for many it is the town of the Muur: the cobbled climb to the top of the Oudenberg, 110 metres high. At the top stands the Oudenberg chapel, and from there you can see far across the region.
With a guide you hear how people were already climbing up to pray in the chapel long before the first cyclist tried his luck there. Down in the town, the mattentaart is waiting. And on the second-to-last Sunday before the first Monday of March, so at the end of February, the town celebrates the end of winter with Krakelingen and Tonnekensbrand: a procession to the top of the Oudenberg, the throwing of the krakelingen, and the fire in the evening.
Enter your trip and you will see the prices of the participating coach companies side by side, including companies from the Netherlands that drive in Belgium. The Flemish coach companies on this page are not taking part yet: they are listed without a price with your trip, and you can invite them from there.
Driving from the depot is part of the price of every trip, so a company that is close by usually starts lower. These 35 are within 50 km:
Measured as the crow flies from the centre. Which one is cheapest also depends on the vehicle and the date.
There is no fixed price per town. What you pay depends on the distance, how long the driver works, the type of coach and the day. Driving from the company’s depot is part of the price too: a company close by usually starts lower.
Enter your trip in the form at the top and within 1 minute you will see the prices of the participating coach companies, without obligation.
A coach does not drive up the Muur: the group walks up, for example from the Markt through the Grupello park. Agree with the driver where he drops the group off and where he picks them up again after the walk. If you are bringing older participants, ask Visit Geraardsbergen which way up suits them best.
As the source puts it, with the day we read it. A municipality can change a rule or a spot: check the source’s page again just before your trip, and agree the spot with your coach company.

No. In Flanders only Antwerp and Ghent have such a zone.
