How the calculator works

For each day trip, the price engine of BusOffer.com calculates what a coach with driver costs from your departure point and back: the same calculation as on our price overview, with our standard rate, for a coach company that has entered nothing of its own.
The coach is the one we advise for your group: a minibus up to 19 people, a midibus up to 35, a coach up to 63 and a double-decker up to 92.
It calculates the first Tuesday and Saturday in the month you choose, at least two weeks ahead and not on a public holiday. On Saturdays our standard rate adds a surcharge.
Places closer than 15 kilometres to your departure point are left out. Keukenhof only appears in March, April and May, the Valkenburg Christmas market only in November and December. Whether another park or museum is open in your month, check on its own website.
We show a verdict and not the amount. The exact price for your date and times comes with “Work it out exactly”.

Why don't I see an amount?

Because what a coach costs differs per coach company, and an amount without your exact trip reads like an offer nobody has made. This calculator therefore only says whether a day trip fits your budget. With “Work it out exactly” you enter your trip and see what coach companies actually charge for it.

Why is a Saturday more expensive than a Tuesday?

Our standard rate adds a surcharge on Saturdays, and a higher one on Sundays and public holidays. That is why we calculate both days: if it only fits on a Tuesday, you see that straight away.

Is the entrance fee of the park or museum included?

No. The verdict is only about the coach with driver, there and back in one day. Entrance, food and drink you pay separately.

Can a coach company be cheaper?

Yes, or more expensive. We calculate with our standard rate. Coach companies with their own rates are sometimes lower and sometimes higher; on the price overview you see them side by side.
