The Efteling is in Kaatsheuvel, between Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch. The park has a separate school rate and its own coach park for the coaches that bring school trips. For your planning this means: the coach drops the group off and can stay there all day, so the driver is ready at the same spot at the end of the afternoon.

Agree a fixed meeting place and a fixed time with the pupils. With a class or a whole year group, that is the place where everyone finds each other again. Also keep an eye on the supervisors: for primary schools the Efteling sets a limit on the number of supervisors per child, and that number helps decide how many seats you need on the coach.

For primary schools there is at most 1 supervisor per 4 children; for secondary schools and mbo (Dutch vocational education) it is 1 per 8.

Who is the Efteling for?

The school rate is available for primary education and for secondary education, mbo, hbo (universities of applied sciences) and university.
For groep 1 and 2 (the first two years of Dutch primary school) the park mentions the Fairytale Forest and Carnaval Festival, for groep 3 to 5 Droomvlucht and Fata Morgana, among others.
From groep 6 it mentions roller coasters such as Joris en de Draak and Baron 1898.
