      School trips

With school trip transport, safety matters most, followed by a driver who is used to working with groups of children.

      Company outings

A shared coach to the company outing or corporate event means the day starts as soon as everyone gets on board, not only once you arrive at the venue.

      Day trips

On a day out with your class, club or family, the last thing you want is to lose time waiting or taking detours.

      Day trip with older people

A day trip with older people calls for a coach that everyone can easily get on and off, with time for rest and a toilet nearby. If someone in a wheelchair is coming along, you need a coach with a lift or ramp and a fixed wheelchair space, and how many of those spaces a coach has differs per coach. Below you can see how many such coaches there are in the fleets, what you arrange in advance as a seniors' association, seniors' club or care home, and which outings say themselves what is possible with a wheelchair.

      Holidays & multi-day trips

For a multi-day trip you hire a coach that is both comfortable and reliable. After all, you'll be sitting in it for hours.

      Trade fairs & conferences

At business events, what counts most is arriving on time and looking professional, with enough room to prepare on the way.

      Shuttle service

With a shuttle service, one or more coaches run back and forth for a few hours: from the station or the car park to the site, from the church to the reception venue, or between the hotel and the conference. Below you can work out how many coaches that takes, and read how to request it.

      Weddings

Wedding transport above all has to be one thing: punctual. Guests who arrive on time give you that little bit of extra calm on the day itself.

      Ski trips

A ski trip starts the moment you leave: with a coach, nobody has to drive early in the morning or load the ski gear themselves.

      Airport transfer

With an airport transfer, one thing matters most: being on time. A shared coach stops the group arriving in dribs and drabs, or losing each other on the way to the airport in separate cars.

      Festivals

At a festival you don't want to arrive separately, or to have to drive home afterwards. A shared coach solves both.

      King's Day

In 2027 King's Day falls on Tuesday 27 April. If you are taking a group to a flea market, a party or the celebrations in another town, your own coach takes you there and picks you up again at an agreed time.

      Carnival

In 2027 carnival runs from Saturday 6 to Tuesday 9 February inclusive. Your own coach takes your club or group of friends to the parade or the party, and picks everyone up again at an agreed time, even in the middle of the night.

What is the difference between all these trips?

A coach is a coach, but a trip is not just a trip. Three things differ per occasion, and together those three determine almost the whole price and the whole choice.

      • How long the coach stays with you. On a school trip or a day trip the coach waits all day; for an airport transfer it drops you off and drives away. Waiting is a lot cheaper than driving, but it still counts towards the driver's hours.
      • How much you take with you. On a ski trip or a trip of several days the luggage hold fills up, and then a coach's capacity turns out lower than the number of seats suggests. For a company outing or a festival you hardly need that space.
      • When in the year it falls. The month is part of every price. An occasion you can move (a staff outing, a wedding out of season) is therefore a very different trip from a school trip with a fixed date.

Each occasion page shows what goes with it: which type of coach suits it most often, from what group size it usually starts, and what the month does to the price.

      Which coach goes with what?

This is not a rule but what is most often chosen in practice. In the end your group decides: two places more or fewer can already mean a different coach.
