Frequently asked questions about day trips

Can the driver stay available all day?

This varies by coach company. Mention it in your request so the coach company can take it into account.

Is a stop for lunch possible?

Yes, click "Add a stop" in the search form to add a lunch location.

How many hours can a driver be on the road?

A driver drives at most nine hours a day and takes a break of three quarters of an hour after four and a half hours of driving. Waiting at the destination does not count as driving. An ordinary day trip fits within that; on a long route the price shows whether a second driver is added.

Is a day trip by coach suitable for older people?

Yes, many coach companies have experience with passengers with limited mobility; ask for a low-entry or wheelchair-accessible bus if needed.

Is the price estimate I see final?

No, it is a price estimate based on your route and group size, not a confirmation of availability. The coach company itself confirms the final price and availability after you have sent a no-obligation booking request.

Does it cost anything to request a booking?

No, requesting a booking is always free and without obligation. You are not committed to anything until the coach company has confirmed the final price and availability and you agree.
