On Sunday 22 November (Totensonntag, the German day of remembrance) open from 18:00, on 12 December until 22:00 and on 23 December until 20:00.
The market is in the old town around the cathedral and the town hall.

During the 2025 Christmas market, coaches parked free of charge at the Bendplatz on Süsterfeldstraße; signs show the way from the motorway.
A shuttle bus ran every quarter of an hour between the Bendplatz and the market, from 10:00 to 18:00.
The arrangement for 2026 was not yet online on 7 October 2026.
