The Christmas market at the cathedral is on the Roncalliplatz, with more than 140 stalls. A few streets away, Heinzels Wintermärchen fills the Heumarkt and the Alter Markt, with more than a hundred stalls and an ice rink on the Heumarkt. There are also markets on the Neumarkt, on the Rudolfplatz and in the harbour, among others. The dates for 2026 and what the city has coaches do in 2026 are set out below, with the source.

On Sunday 22 November 2026 (Totensonntag, the German day of remembrance) the market is closed.
More than 140 stalls with crafts, gifts, and food and drink.

From 26 November to 23 December 2026, car park P22 of the Koelnmesse in Deutz is the central car park for coaches, open from 10:00 to 23:00.
During that period the free KVB shuttle bus 199 runs from 10:00 to 22:00 between P22 and the Heumarkt (platform D), without a fixed timetable.
The city expects many visitors on Saturdays: allow enough time to get back to P22.
