From search to booked coach, and at every step you can see where you are
You enter your trip once
Number of people, where you leave from, where you're going, and when. The field helps you with every address, including a street and house number. The more precise the address, the more precise the kilometres.
A customer enters a trip
A customer looks for a coach: the number of people, where the trip starts, where it goes, and when. You see nothing yet. What a customer searches for and compares stays with the customer.
Stops along the way or a day programme? You add them in the same form.
Recreated. Each suggestion says what it is.
You see nothing here yet. Only when a customer books with you or asks you a question does the trip reach you.You say who you are, and see the prices
Your name and email address; you can add your phone number but don't have to. You immediately get an email with your own reference number, so you can always find your comparison again.
The customer sees the prices
The customer leaves a name and an email address and then sees the prices. Those details do not reach you while the customer is only comparing.
Recreated example. The name and address are made up.
Still nothing. You only get the customer's name and email address with a booking request or a question. You compare the coaches side by side
Each offer as a tile: the coach, the company, what's included and the price. The amounts are calculated with the rates the coach company has set itself, including VAT. Below each tile you can see how the amount is made up.
Your coach is among the prices
You appear in the comparison with the rates you set yourself, including VAT. You don't have to calculate anything for this trip. If your coach is already booked that day, it is not included.
Putting two or three side by side, looking at another day, asking a question or sharing the link with your group: you can do all of that from here.
Recreated tile. The amount only appears once you have entered your trip; that is why it is not shown here.
You don't calculate anything yourself: the price comes from your own rates. You only see the trip once the customer chooses you.You request a booking without obligation
From the company you choose, or from a few at once; that is what comparing is for. This is not yet a booking: you are not committed to paying anything, and you only decide once you know the final amount.
A booking request comes in
The customer chooses your coach, on its own or alongside a few other companies. You see the request under Bookings as New, and you get an email straight away. It is not yet a booking: the customer only decides once your final amount is in.

Recreated confirmation. The number is an example.
Recreated portal of a coach company. It also gets an email straight away: "New booking request".
The coach company gives a final amount
The company confirms the coach is available and adds its amount, sometimes with its own quote attached. You get an email, and the amount then also appears on your price overview. If it suggests something different, such as another departure time, that appears in the conversation with your request.

You confirm the coach is available and add your amount, with your own quote attached if you like. The customer gets an email, and your amount then appears on the customer's price overview. Recreated email. This page never shows an amount.
Recreated. The company enters one amount; the email then goes to the customer automatically.
You let them know you want this coach
As soon as the amount is there, a button "I want to book this coach" appears with that company. That way the company knows straight away that you have decided. It is a request and not yet a booking: the company gets in touch and confirms the trip itself.
The customer wants your coach
When the customer presses "I want to book this coach", you get an email and see it with the booking. It is a request, not yet a booking: you get in touch and confirm the trip yourself.
Go ahead and try the button in the example.
You have the final amount from Example Coaches. Do you want this coach? Let them know, and they will contact you to finalise the trip.I want to book this coach

Recreated. The status stays as the company set it, until the company changes it.
The company confirms, and after the trip we ask how it went
The coach company marks the trip as booked and you get an email about it. From then on, the trip, the payment and the arrangements are between you and the coach company. Two days after the trip you get one question: did your trip go ahead, and with whom? After that you can review the company.
You confirm the trip, and afterwards we ask how it went
You set the trip to booked and the customer gets an email about it. From then on, the trip, the payment and the arrangements are between you and the customer. Two days after the trip we ask the customer whether it went ahead. The customer can then review you, and you can respond to that review once.
