The Keukenhof is open for less than eight weeks a year, from eight in the morning to seven in the evening. A group of more than twenty people gets a group rate. Admission tickets are valid for a fixed date and a fixed arrival time, in half-hour slots. So work back from that slot when you agree the coach's departure time.

One day stands out. On Saturday 17 April 2027 the Bloemencorso (flower parade) passes through the Bollenstreek bulb-growing region, and from twelve noon several roads are closed. If you want to come that day, you need to be at the park before twelve; the Keukenhof recommends another day if you are only coming for the park.

The playground is for children of all ages, with its own Miffy (Nijntje) playground for the youngest, and next to it a maze with a lookout point.

The park is easily accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
A limited number of wheelchairs can be hired at the ticket shop each day; you cannot hire a mobility scooter, but you can bring your own.
Every toilet block has an accessible toilet.

Our advice: With a group that includes wheelchairs or mobility scooters, the Keukenhof is very doable; don't leave booking a wheelchair to the last minute, as there are only a few a day.
