From Saturday 6 to Tuesday 9 February 2027 inclusive. The next day is Ash Wednesday, and then it's over.

Can the coach pick us up in the middle of the night?

Yes, just put the return time in your request. If the coach leaves between eleven at night and six in the morning, a night surcharge may apply; you'll see what that means for your journey as soon as you fill it in.

Which streets are closed during carnival?

That differs per town and per year, and we don't keep track of it. Check the website of the council of the town you're going to, and ask the coach company where it can drop the group off.

When are the big parades in Den Bosch, Breda and Tilburg?

In Tilburg, Den Opstoet is on Sunday 7 February 2027 from 12:11. In 's-Hertogenbosch (Oeteldonk) and Breda (ut Kielegat) the Grand Parade is on carnival Monday 8 February; in Oeteldonk from 12:33.

Carnival by city

's-Hertogenbosch: Oeteldonk

Carnival in Oeteldonk lasts three days; the official website lists 7 to 9 February 2027.
The Grand Parade moves through the centre of 's-Hertogenbosch on carnival Monday from 12:33 and ends around 16:11 in the Marktstraat.
Some 100,000 Oeteldonkers and enthusiasts come to watch every year.

According to the city of Tilburg, the party in Kruikenstad starts on Friday 5 February 2027.
Den Opstoet is on Sunday 7 February 2027, starting at 12:11.
It sets off from D'n Ophef and ends at the Stadsforum.

Maastricht: Vastelaovend

In 2026 the big parade 'Boonte Störrem' was on carnival Sunday at 13:33. The details for 2027 are not yet listed.
The barriers in the city centre close on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday between 13:00 and 3:00 at night.
Free parking is available at P+R Maastricht Noord, with bus line 3, 10 or 30 to the centre.
